OrderPal is operated by OrderPal Pty Ltd (ABN 24 802 740 146), an Australian company. We provide online ordering software for restaurants, cafes and takeaway shops in Australia.

From restaurant owners (our customers): We collect your name, email address, restaurant name, business address, phone number and ABN when you create an account. Bank account details for payouts are entered directly into Stripe and are not stored on OrderPal servers.
From your customers (people ordering food): When a customer places an order through your OrderPal ordering page, we collect their name, phone number, email address (if provided) and order details. Payment card information is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
Usage data: We collect standard usage data including pages visited, device type, browser type and IP address to improve our service.
We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the OrderPal platform, process orders and payments, send order notifications and receipts, provide customer support, improve our products and services, comply with our legal obligations, and send service announcements, updates and administrative messages about your account.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
We only use your information for the purposes described in this policy.
If you are a restaurant owner using OrderPal, the customer data collected through your ordering page belongs to you. OrderPal acts as a data processor on your behalf. We will never use your customers' data for our own marketing purposes or share it with other restaurants.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Card numbers and payment credentials are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on OrderPal servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, Inc. Data may be stored in data centres located in the United States or Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles. By using OrderPal, you consent to your data being stored and processed in these locations.
OrderPal uses session cookies for authentication and preference cookies to remember your settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the platform may not work correctly.
Under Australian Privacy Law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and data, and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first at privacy@orderpal.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Customer order data (from people ordering food through your page) is retained for 90 days in our active database and may be retained in archived form for up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
If you close your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
