Pricing & Fees
Yes — no credit card, no setup fee, no time limit and no lock-in contract. Starter includes QR ordering, an online ordering page, pay at counter, your kitchen dashboard and AI menu upload. You only pay if you choose to upgrade to Pro.
Pro is $9.90/week, billed monthly at $42.90. It adds online card payments via Stripe, an insights dashboard showing your busiest hours and top dishes, 30 days of order history, and removal of OrderPal branding from your ordering page. Cancel anytime.
Stripe processes all online card payments at 1.7% + 30¢ per transaction — the same rate any business in Australia pays. You can optionally pass these to customers as a card processing fee and platform fee in your Settings, just like most cafés already do at the counter. Both are fully disclosed to customers before they pay.
Yes — you can enable a card processing fee (1.7%) and platform fee (30¢) in Settings → Payments. These are passed directly to customers at checkout and disclosed before payment, fully compliant with Australian Consumer Law.
Every restaurant gets a unique referral code visible on their Payments page in the dashboard. Share your code with another restaurant owner — they get their first month of Pro at half price ($4.95/week). Once they're actively taking orders for 30 days, you earn 2 months at half price ($4.95/week). Resets with each new referral you make.
Setup & Getting Started
Most restaurants are live in under 60 seconds. Take a photo of your printed menu or upload a PDF. Our AI reads every item, price and category automatically — no typing required. Once uploaded, your ordering page is live immediately.
Log in to your dashboard, go to Menu, and edit any item directly. You can add, remove or update items and prices at any time. Changes appear on your ordering page instantly.
None at all. If you can take a photo on your phone and upload it, you can set up OrderPal. The AI does everything else. Most restaurant owners who are "not tech people" are fully set up and taking orders within a few minutes.
Yes — you can add your restaurant logo, cover photo, description, cuisine type, location and opening hours. Your page will feel like your own branded ordering experience, not a generic platform.
Orders & Operations
No app needed. Customers order directly from their mobile browser — scan the QR code on their table or visit your ordering link and they're ordering in seconds on any phone. They can also save your ordering page to their home screen for one-tap access next time, just like an app — no App Store required.
OrderPal generates a unique QR code for each table in your restaurant. Print them and place them on the tables. When a customer scans the QR code, they go directly to your ordering page with their table number pre-filled — no manual entry needed. Orders go straight to your dashboard and kitchen printer.
Instantly. Orders appear in your dashboard the moment a customer pays. If you have a kitchen printer connected, the order prints automatically at the same time.
Stripe processes payouts on a daily schedule for Pro restaurants accepting online payments. Payments processed today typically arrive in your nominated bank account within 1–2 business days, depending on your bank. Pay at counter orders on Starter go directly to you at the time of payment.
All payments are handled by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment processors, used by millions of businesses worldwide. Your customers' card data never touches our servers. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay.
None. Cancel Pro anytime with no notice period and no cancellation fees. Your Starter plan remains active and free even if you cancel Pro. We're confident OrderPal will earn its place once you see the difference in your margins.
Your account and data remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted. We never sell or share your restaurant data or customer information.
Yes — OrderPal works for both. For dine-in, customers scan the QR code on their table. For takeaway, customers scan a counter QR code or visit your ordering link directly. You can run both from the same dashboard.
